Dingley Pavilion

Dingley Pavilion

A welcoming, inclusive, family friendly environment and a safe community space for all ages, genders, abilities and backgrounds

As part of the Council's commitment to improving sporting facilities at Dingley Reserve, the redevelopment of the existing pavilion has met the growing demand for cricket and AFL facilities, providing more sporting and community amenities for the Dingley community.

ARCH was engaged to design new two-storey pavilion with new change rooms, new social room and community space, match day kiosk, umpires change rooms, commercial kitchen and public toilets.

Engagement also included refurbishment and integration of the existing change room facility; relocating the cricket storage shed closer to the cricket nets; pathways and landscaping surrounding the new development; and upgrades to existing carpark.

City of Kingston’s vision for the project was for it to be a contemporary sporting facility and provide flexible spaces to support the clubs to grow and thrive through building connections with the local community. The facility is a welcoming, inclusive, family friendly environment and a safe community space for all ages, genders, abilities and backgrounds.
