Congratulations to Geoffrey Street, founder of our business in Queensland, for being recognised for his outstanding contribution to the architecture of Australia and to professional bodies. Geoff has been made a Life Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA).
Geoff has always embraced our practice’s architectural approach to "design with people," and his built work comprises a range of award-winning community projects. He has a keen focus on education, especially the design and planning of university facilities.
As a founding Director of Anderson Street Architects that merged Suters Architects and in turn became dwp Australia, Geoff has always been active in the Australian Institute of Architects, Property Council of Australia, Association of Consulting Architects and several community and NFP organisations in Queensland and nationwide.
A mentor to our emerging leaders and our teams benefit from Geoff's leadership experience especially in education, health, aboratories, retail and mixed use projects. He is greatly respected for his contribution to the profession and for his passion for both architecture and music. Geoff is a fantastic team player in both fields and we are proud to have him as our colleague.
